Private Practice 12/3 - The Parent Trap & Blowups

 I'm looking forward to it--though, admittedly, I'm a little disappointed that we haven't gotten any resolution into the Sam/Addison chemistry that's been building for the last few episodes. 

Please no, please no

No Addison and Sam.  Please they have to leave Naomi and Addsion's friendship intact.

I can't wait to see Violet get her groove back.  I hate her with that judgemental Pete.

Bad enough they completely forgot about Dell's feelings for Naomi.

Well HOT DAMN! Addison's mother is......a lesbian.

As soon as "Susan" showed up...the writing was on the wall.

Yep! Tonight's Private Practice may have been the best ep of the season so far. Kate Walsh is on fire!

Kate Walsh was amazing in this episode--my heart broke for Addison as she stood in that elevator, sans makeup, in her jeans, Yale sweatshirt and flip flops.  Her interaction with Sheldon was great. This season of PP has given us the most character development for Addison since she left Seattle Grace. Great stuff. 

Big Dede, I understand your reservations about Sam and Addison but lets not forget that Naomi slept with Addison's brother and she left the Practice. Why shouldn't she have to deal with the pain of a strained relationship when she's done it to everyone else? 

Thank God for the person who knows how a black parent would sound.

Noemi was my mother when my sisters and I each reached teen years. Thank God for my father or we would not be here.  As Bill Cosby often preached; " I brought you in this world and I will take you out!"

Could you bring this writer to Y&R, DOOL, AMC and OLTL to save our black characters.

Yeah Naomi slept with Addison's brother and left the practice but they are still best friends.  Sleeping with a brother who's already a ho and sleeping with a ex husband is completely different.

Also I'm thinking of this as an Addison fan.  The four of them (Derek/Mark/Sam/Addison/Naomi) were all best friends in med school.  I don't want Addison to go though all the men in the clique.  She married Derek, slept with Mark and if she gets with Sam then she would have went though the whole crew.

Tonight episode though was amazing.  Violet and Captain had such great chemistry.  I was hoping for more of a relationship. He was so sweet and gentle with her.  I am so glad it's going to keep Pete away from her.  I can't stand Judgemental Pete.

I also knew that as soon as Susan got there and the Captain got upset that Bizzy was having an affair with her.

I must add also that Addison's parents have the best names, Captain and Bizzy.

I so loved Naomi and Sam's reaction to their daughter's acting out.  Both of them was snapping.  It as realistic.

When Dell told his wife he hope she died my mouth dropped.  I use to be a huge Dell fan. I loved his crush on Naomi but then Dell started to also get so judgemental. I use to actually feel sorry for his babymama. He introduced her to the drugs and got pissed that she got hooked and had a hard time getting off the drugs. I just wonder if he and Naomi will get close now that he's moving in with her.

The best thing Private Practice could have ever done for Naomi was get her into that other office. I never cared for the character, but after the move she is improving drastically. I like how the Wheel Chair Dr. throws her off her game and I sort of want to see them paired romantically.

I don't Addison with Sam either. I love their BFF relationship and after her telling her parents that he is her family I don't want to see them sleep together.

The problem is that none of the men in Addison's office are really "viable" partners or strong enough for her. For a while I thought Pete might be, but I like him in Violet's orbit better.

I know this may sound stupid, but I think PP needs needs to a Robert Downey Jr. on Ally McBeal or Rob Lowe on Brothers & Sisters esque actor to come as her love interest. It can't be a "no name" like many of her men have been.  Robert Downy Jr. was a down on his luck actor and McBeal began his comeback. Lowe had a failed TV show after West Wing and Brothers & Sisters has helped him  get reestablished. Even Patrick Dempsey hadn't had a hit since Sweet Home Alabama, but Grey's rebooted his career. So basically I'm saying Grey's needs to find a former heart throb, scandal ridden actor who is known to be a good actor or still popular, but out of work and give him a chance.

That's an interesting idea, Luke. I think you might be right, none of the men on the show are really strong enough for her. It might be good to get a strong, popular actor as her love interest. I really liked her chemistry with that Noah guy - I think the actor's name is Josh Hopkins, he's a good actor. But I guess that story was doomed from the start, with him being married and all that...

If they are going to do the RDJ route, what about pulling a page from Ally and bring on Bon Jovi. I would love to see JBJ on my screen again.

I don't want Addison with anyone on this show. Especially Sam. He's her BFF and I don't want that ruined like Izzy and George was on GA. I used to want her with Pete but not now. He's got too much baggage with him. I like EET's idea of bringing JBJ on, but I prefer RDJ. Sorry EET. LOL
