Brothers & Sisters

ABC Renews Brothers & Sisters?

The Hollywood Reporter has some good news for fans of the ABC primetime sudser Brothers & Sisters.

I’m told ABC has renewed “Brothers & Sisters” for a fifth season. The Sally Field soap opera has had, I think, five show runners in four seasons. Maybe they can somehow get back to the show’s basic premise, from which it has seriously drifted, next fall …

Now while the network has not issues a statement as of yet, things are looking good for a fifth season of Brothers &  Sisters.

Are you happy with this news, or do you think that it is time to say good-bye once and for all to the Walker clan?

Calista Flockhart to Scale Back at Brothers & Sisters

Bad news Brothers & Sisters fans. Michael Ausiello is reporting at EW.com that Calista Flockhart will be reducing her workload at Brothers & Sisters next season and her decision may have played a role in Rob Lowe's recently announced departure.

Sources confirm to me exclusively that his TV spouse, Calista Flockhart, will be working a reduced schedule next season.

An ABC spokesperson declined to comment except to say that Flockhart will remain a series regular. In other words — and this is just me speculating — she’ll most likely appear in at least 13 of next season’s 22 episodes.

Rob Lowe Leaving Brothers & Sisters

Sad news for Brothers & Sisters and Rob Lowe fans. Deadline Hollywood is reporting Lowe "has worked out an amicable exit strategy with ABC's Steve McPherson" to leave the popular ABC series. According to the same story ABC wants to keep Lowe in the House of Mouse and is in talks for him to anchor his own series.

2009 ABC "House" Promo Campaign

The ABC "House" fall 2009 promo campaign is off and running. The ads combine different shows –such as Brothers & Sisters and The Bachelorette or Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives– into humorous scenes promoting both shows under the tag line "Your Shows Live Here." My favorite is the Brothers & Sisters and Jimmy Kimmel Live ad. Check out more ads after the jump.   READ MORE
