Heigl Returns for Last Five Grey's Anatomy Eppys of the Season

Katherine Heigl is scheduled to return to the Grey's Anatomy set on Monday and will appear in the season's five final episodes, according to Michael Ausiello at EW.com.

Question: What’s going on with Katherine Heigl? Is she ever going to be returning to Grey’s Anatomy? —Hannah

Ausiello: Heigl’s due back on the Grey’s set on Monday, so it looks like Izzie will be in this season’s final five episodes. What happens after that is anyone’s guess. In other Grey’s news, I just learned that a second Mercy Wester will not be returning next season. Have you figured out who the other one is yet?

Congratulations are in order for Grey's Anatomy star and All My Children alum Leven Rambin. The 19-year-old actress, who recently returned for AMC's 40th anniversary, announced on her Twitter page that she is engaged to Geoff Clark. Side note: I am re-reading one of my fave book series as a kid, Sweet Valley High and it's so weirdly cool to see Rambin's face on the revised covers as twins Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield! Are you glad that Kim is sticking around? Or are you bummed like me that she isn't going to help Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) out on 24?

Thursday Nights, The DVR Dilemma

I read an interesting article at The Live Feed asking whether or not Fox made a mistake by moving Fringe to Thursdays. It made me think about how I’m adapting to the night when my two DVRs are at their busiest, what I’m watching live and how long it is taking me to get to shows I still love, but have a hard time finding time to watch. Let me break it down.

I don’t watch CBS’ Thursday night lineup. I started to fall for The Mentalist at the end of last season, enjoyed catching up with it in reruns over the summer and had it scheduled on my DVR this season, but I have yet to watch a new episode. In fact I had to delete it off my DVR because there just isn’t enough time to watch Thursday’s, Friday’s and Sunday’s shows by Monday morning, when the TV week starts all over again. I’ll have to catch up on it in the off season or next summer. READ MORE

Grey's Anatomy Falls, Private Practice Rises

It’s a common Friday morning routine. Regan and I discuss Thursday’s episodes of Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice. Since their season premieres, Regan has been bored by Grey’s Anatomy, while I’m enjoying it. Regan loves Private Practice this season and thinks it’s better than Grey’s Anatomy. I’ve been enjoying Private Practice, but until last night I was still enjoying Grey’s Anatomy more. Until last night. READ MORE
